L Vinebaum (they/them) is a Chicago-based (Potawatomi, Ojibwe and Odawa lands) scholar, artist, educator and activator. Their work sits at the intersections of textiles and politics. L is an Associate Professor of Fiber and Material Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and the co-Vice President of the Textile Society of America.
