Laura Dorwart has an MFA in creative nonfiction writing from Antioch University, Los Angeles and a B.A. from Barnard College. She is currently a PhD candidate and Fletcher Jones Fellow at UC San Diego, focusing on queer and disabled girlhoods, as well as representations of mental health in the media.
