Frances Revel was raised in Southern Delaware until age 13, when she enrolled in a Vaganova ballet conservatory in Maine. She was awarded the 2017 Most Promising Young Poet Award from the Academy of American Poets and has received fellowships from the Yiddish Book Center and Bennington College, from which she recently graduated. Frances is currently pursuing an MFA in poetry at Cornell University.
